GALLEY BEGGAR PRESS SHORT STORY PRIZE 2024/25

MATHILDE MEROUANI’s Merouani’s translations of Michel Butor’s essays have been published by Vanguard Editions. Her fiction and essays have appeared in Joyland, The Common, 3:AM Magazine, and Fugue. She won the 2021 Joyland Open Border Fiction Prize, and was shortlisted for the 2022 Galley Beggar Press Short Story Prize. She is currently pursuing an MFA at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
